What books I’m going to bring with me to the family vacation

Hellooo everyone!!

Next week I’m heading toward Malta with my family! We are going to spend a week there, and though I’m not planning only reading, but of course I have to have some books with me – for my nighttime reading and if I’m just sitting on the beach. Also, the last week of The Reading Quest is happening on that week, so I have to finish the leftovers from the challenge then 😀

I plan to bring the following books with me:

  • Winter by Marissa Meyer honestly I’m in a desperate need to finish this book
  • Insurgent by Veronica Roth
  • The Hearts we Sold by Emily Lloyd-Jones

Originally I planned to bring more books with me, bit Winter has priority over everything else and I don’t want to let Ryell down but not finishing her wizard quest path. Insurgent is the second in the row, I started it for a side quest and I want to finish it as well.

I’m going to have posts next week but I might not be very active 😊

Summer Days Book Tag

Hellooo everyone!!!

I saw this tag on Berries and Books blog and it looks fun so I decided to do it! The original tag was created by Levandra and Sol.

1. During the summer everyone has more free time, thus beside the new books people re-read books for nostalgia. Which book have you re-read the most?

The Harry Potter series. I reread it every year since I first read it, so I rered it around 15 times. The second one is the Twilight series which I reread often. I love to reread those books which made me happy 🙂

2. Summer: must read for school or typical summer reads? If you are not going to school anymore think like you still do?

I rarely read the mandatory books for school though I always tried it. There were one or two which I actually liked but the others weren’t my favourites.

3. Typical summer read in your opinion:

I don’t really have season specific readings, except the Harry Potter series which I always reread during the Winter time. I would side The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli because it was a fast, funny and really cutesy read and I see myself reading it on the beach.

4. If summer, then love! Your favourite bookish OTP?

Feyre and Rhysand. No need for explanations. 😀

5. Which bookish location would you want to visit on a holiday?

The Shire! The hobbits love visitors and I can imagine that there would be great festives, food, drink and the Shire is beautiful!

6. This will cool you down! Choose a book you love and made you shiver:

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. This book is pure magic, it’s slowly burning, the writing style is amazing and the ending is heartbreaking.

7. This will reanimate you! Choose an emotionally overheated, hot love story that you’ve read!

I usually don’t read romance, I read contemporaries but those arent’t the hot love filled ones. I’m going to this again with the relationship between Feyre and Rhysand because OMG that is HOT!

8. Which book will you take with yourself for the holiday this summer?

I’m going to bring with myself 5 books (at least this is the planned number), I’m going to bring New World Rising, Fangirl, Simon vs the Homo Spaiens Agenda. The others I’m not sure yet, the candidates are One of us is lying, The Gentlemens Guide to Vice and Virtue, Divergent and Winter.

I hope you enjoyed this fun little tag, I would like to recommend anyone who want to do it – just do it!

Cheers, Szandi
